Never Furl Non-Wrapping Device For 1 in. Diameter Pole Review

(More customer reviews)It works some times and sometimes not. On a windy day the flag would still wrap over the pole and not unfurl by it self.
After tinkering with it, I found the NoFurl works best when there is some slack in the flag and the tabling along the hoist is not tight. This allows the rotating collars to move more freely. When the lower collar is pushed down making the hoist tight against the pole, there is too much friction between the lower rotating sleeve and the lower collar and the NoFurl does not work. This should be explained in the instruction sheet.
Once the correct tension is found the NoFurl works like a champ, and the flag did not get tangled again.

(More customer reviews)The flagpole arrived in a very reasonable timeframe.It was not what I thought it was supposed to be, however, I did look at several and may have remembered the wrong base support mechanism.My challenge is that the flagpole is MUCH smaller in diameter than the base support is, and is so thin that when I hand tightened the thumbscrew, in order to prevent the flagpole from being very wabbly, the thumbscrew perforated the flagpole.I have since had to go to Home Depot to purchase something to assist holding the flagpole in place.
