Most of the time there is no flag within site of the start, but not anymore if I'm the guy with the Microphone and National Anthem queued up.

The portable collapsible flag pole and tire mount is so great. It's very high, super light and the tire mount is simplicity itself. The pole can be extended and put up by one person, even a small person. It's only 4 feet long when not being used and the tire mount takes up almost no space as the pipe portion unscrews from the plate so there is no awkward shape to store.

My only caution is not one of product quality because you will not easily break this, but one of enthusiasm in its use. Always check for overhead wires. This thing will go up 20 feet high.
